A propos du film :

L'histoire de l’ancien président du FC Bayern de Münich, Kurt Landauer. De confession juive et membre du conseil d’administration du club dans les années trente, il se fait limoger par les nazis à l’aube de la 2ème Guerre mondiale. D’abord envoyé dans le camp de concentration de Dachau, il est contraint de quitter l’Allemagne et de s’installer en Suisse durant la guerre. Quand il revient en 1947, et après avoir perdu toute sa famille dans les camps de concentration, il trouve une Allemagne dévastée, un stade en ruines et un club moribond. Malgré tous les obstacles, il décide de remettre le club sur pied.
