Prise en flagrant délit par son patron Mark Rutland, elle tombe dans un chantage odieux : l’épouser ou se confronter aux démons de son passé. Pourquoi aller voir cet opéra ? La sublime soprano Isabel Leonard tient le rôle-titre de la mystérieuse Marnie dans cette nouvelle production inspirée du thriller haletant d‘Alfred Hitchcock, sur une musique de Nico Mulhy.
