A propos du film :

Peter, un ancien professeur de l’US Naval War College, obsédé par l’alcool et l’étrange destin d’un sous-marin : le Lionfish, se voit enfin ouvrir les portes de ce bâtiment qui avait été jusque là scellé et interdit d’accès dans la base navale de Fall River. Lui et son équipe vont, après 80 ans, être les premiers a pénétrer dans les entrailles du submersible. C’est alors que tout se complique… Le sous-marin semble reprendre vie, enfermant le petit groupe à son bord et fonçant vers une bataille rangée contre un ennemi allemand en pleine année… 1943.
