Après 76 ans de mariage, ils continuent à se promener main dans la main dans leurs tenues assorties, ou à faire des batailles de boules de neige. Elle prend soin de lui, il chante et cueille des fleurs pour elle. Chaque instant témoigne d’une complicité absolue, qui a eu raison des écueils de leur rude existence. Mais voilà l’hiver de la vie qui approche... Pendant plus d’un an, Mo-young Jin a filmé avec une grande délicatesse le quotidien de ce couple hors du commun de gens pourtant ordinaires. Succès inégalé pour un documentaire indépendant en Corée, son film s’élève au rang des grandes romances tragiques. Une méditation bouleversante sur la fragile nature du bonheur.
