L’enlèvement au Sérail, est un Singspiel en trois actes de Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. L’œuvre a été créé au Burgtheater de Vienne, le 16 juillet 1782, sous la direction du compositeur. L'Enlèvement au sérail raconte l’histoire du jeune noble espagnol Belmonte et sa tentative d'enlever sa fiancée Constance qui est capturée par des pirates et vendue au Pacha Selim. Pedrillo accompagne son maitre et tente de sauver sa bien aimé Blonde, servante de Constance. Au moment de prendre la fuite, les deux couples d’amants fugitifs sont rattrapés et une mort certaine les attend. Coup de théâtre, le généreux Selim, décide de leur accorder son pardon et la liberté. Le rôle vertigineux de Constance est chanté par Lenneke Ruiten, avec ses magnifiques aigues filées et ses vocalises souples et éblouissantes. Le rôle de Belmonte sera interprété par le ténor émergent Mauro Peter dont la sensibilité musicale va de pair avec un respect absolu de la prononciation. Vous allez être submergé par la musicalité et la tendresse de la voix du jeune ténor.
