On pourrait les appeler les "Blues Brothers 2003"... Dans ce documentaire basé sur des événements réels, la légende du hip-hop Chuck D. (de Public Enemy) et Marshall Chess (fils de Leonard Chess et héritier de Chess Records) reviennent à Chicago sur les traces de la grande époque du Chicago Blues. Ils décident de produire ensemble un album qui réunit des vétérans du blues et des musiciens hip-hop contemporains comme Common. On peut également découvrir des images d'archives inédites de Howlin' Wolf et des performances originales de Koko Taylor, Otis Rush, Magic Slim, Ike Turner et Sam Lay.
