Au collège de Marciac, certains élèves ont choisi l'option-jazz dont l'objectif n'est pas forcément d'en faire des musiciens professionnels mais de parier que, grâce à la musique, la culture au sens large continuera à occuper une part importante dans leur vie future.C'est dans cet esprit qu'arrivent au collège les musiciens du goupe Fölifö de Guinée (le groupe a accompagné le grand saxophoniste Momo le Doyen à qui Laurent Chevallier avait consacré un long métrage) invités par le proviseur. Ils initient les élèves à un jazz joué avec les instruments traditionnels africains puis les emmènent à Conakry, sur le continent noir où sont les racines du jazz et partagent un moment de leur vie avec eux.Ce film sur l'Afrique, la musique, le jazz, la transmission et l'adolescence nous invite à partager cette expérience unique et émouvante vécu par les élèves et les musiciens.
