Marina est une jeune femme fragile et anxieuse qui fait tout son possible pour être la meilleure des mères. Elle décide de passer les vacances d’été à la montagne car elle pense que ce changement de lieu sera bénéfique pour son enfant qui a des troubles du sommeil.
